Please provide details on the following for the Albany area, as at 31 May 2013: (a) the total number of Homeswest properties, and of these: (i) how many are houses; (ii) what is the breakdown of houses by number of bedrooms; (iii) how many are units; (iv) what is the breakdown of units by number of bedrooms; (v) how many of these properties are waiting for refurbishment or repairs; and (vi) how many are currently being refurbished or repaired; (b) what is the total number of vacant Homewest properties, and of these: (i) how many are houses; (ii) how many are units; (iii) what is the total number of bedrooms vacant; (iv) how many of these properties are waiting for refurbishment or repairs; and (v) how many are currently being refurbished or repaired; (c) how many people are on the Homewest waiting list for accommodation, and of these: (i) how many are families; (ii) how many are pensioners; (iii) how many are singles; and (iv) how many are couples; (d) how many people are on the Homewest priority list for accommodation; (e) what is the average length of time for those people on the Homewest waiting list before they are placed in accommodation; and (f) what land does the Department of Housing have available for Homeswest accommodation to be built on, and: (i) where is this land located; (ii) what is the expected time frame for development; and (iii) what type of housing is to be built on it?

The timing for construction on the remaining 13 lots is not currently known as it will depend on available funding in the future and demand at that time.
(iii) The five units under construction comprise 5 two-bedroom seniors units. The six planned units comprise 2 three-bedroom standard units as well as 1 two-bedroom, 2 three-bedroom and 1 seven-bedroom units for people with disabilities. The type of housing for the remaining 13 lots is not currently known as it will depend on demand at the time construction proceeds.
