LOT 302 IRIS AVENUE, DALKEITH
320. Hon SUE ELLERY to the Leader of the House
representing the Premier:
I refer to emails in June 2014
between the Premier's then deputy chief of staff, Mr Richard May, and
Building Management and Works about securing a selling agent for lot 302 Iris Avenue,
Dalkeith.
(1) Can the
Premier confirm that Mr Richard May put forward a potential selling agent in an
email dated 11 June 2014?
(2) If yes to (1), who was that
selling agent and why did Mr May put forward his name?

AnswerView source ↗

I thank the honourable member for
some notice of the question.
(1) Yes.
(2) It was James
Paxton from Paxton Hoad. The project officer supporting the Sunset Transformation
Committee presented Mr May with a list of 15 western suburbs selling agents to
be approached about the sale of this lot, and it was recommended that James Paxton
from Paxton Hoad be added to the list on the basis that he, too, has experience
in western suburbs properties.
