(1) Has the Department of Conservation and Land Management commenced or carried out any investigations into the use of wood from Western Australia’s native forests for power generation? (2) Is CALM aware of any other government or semi-government agencies, such as the Department of Resources Development or Western Power, giving any consideration to the use of Western Australian native forest wood for power generation? (3) If yes to parts (1) or (2), will the minister specify the agency or agencies involved and the location, volume and species of the wood supply under consideration? Hon PETER FOSS
