I refer to the answer provided to question without notice 23,
asked on Tuesday, 17 February 2015.
(1) Is the Minister for Mental Health
aware that the Minister for Culture and the Arts is responsible for the
administration of the Maritime Archaeology Act 1973?
(2) Did the Minister for Mental Health
confirm the accuracy of the answer prepared by the Minister for Environment
with the Minister for Culture and the Arts before providing her answer to the
Parliament?

(1)–(2) Yes, I am now aware. I
provide information to this house in a representative capacity, and not as the
minister responsible for the portfolio. However, I am advised by the Minister
for Environment that the answer to question without notice 23 was provided through
the Department of Parks and Wildlife, in consultation with the Western
Australian Museum and the Minister for Culture and the Arts.
