WESTERN AUSTRALIAN
INSTITUTE OF SPORT — NETBALL WA
580. Mr P.J. RUNDLE to the Premier:
I have a supplementary question.
The Premier has just given all the reasons why —
The SPEAKER : Sorry, this is
not a debate. Just ask the question.
Mr P.J. RUNDLE : Will the
Premier intervene and work with the Western Australian Institute of Sport and
Netball WA to reinstate this funding?

AnswerView source ↗

No, I will not be intervening in or
making decisions on behalf of the Western Australian Institute of Sport. It is
guided by a board. Obviously, it will make the decision. I will be briefed on
this matter and, if further action is required, we will take it, if necessary.
The SPEAKER : The member for
Darling Range.
Mr P.J. Rundle : You were
just saying how great the program is.
Mr R.H. Cook : Why don't
you just shut up for an occasion.
The SPEAKER : Order, please!
The member for Darling Range.
Mr R.H. Cook : You're
such as empty vessel. That's why you make so much noise.
The SPEAKER : Can I just
assure you, member for Darling Range, that the Premier is not talking to you!
Mr H.T. JONES : I am not in
the Navy anymore!
