(a)-(b) Feedback in respect of the need for a water allocation plan was sought across a diverse group of stakeholders in the Fitzroy River catchment, Including pastoral industry stakeholders, traditional owner groups, local governments and the Fitzroy Progress Association. Once the water allocation plan is available and the Shire of Derby West Kimberley has completed its economic development strategy, decisions in respect of a standalone Fitzroy River management plan can be made.
(c)-(d) The budget allocation of $1.913 million (including consultation on the draft water allocation plan) has been fully expended. Funding supported Aboriginal Economic Development Grants for Traditional Owner groups, consultation with stakeholders, research, data and staffing to support project.
(e) $250,000.
