(4)      Based on advice from both the Chamber of Minerals and Energy and the Association of Mining and Exploration Companies I met with the Senior Vice President of Anglo Gold Ashanti who agreed to coordinate engagement with the key mining companies operating in the Laverton area. The matter was also discussed at the Mining Liaison Meeting held in Laverton on 20 February 2018 where mining company representatives toured the hospital. Discussions regarding a financial contribution are ongoing.
