program
981. Hon Nick Goiran to
the parliamentary secretary representing the
Attorney General:
I refer to the
funding announced by the Attorney General's predecessor for the Fitzroy
Crossing Night Space program.
(1) What is the most recent data available on:
 (a) the number of young people currently engaged in the program;
 (b) the total number of interactions with the program recorded to
date; and
 (c) any measurable change in youth offending in the Fitzroy
Valley region since the program commenced?
(2) Has the Attorney General received a briefing
or evaluation report on the program's outcomes, including re-engagement with
education or diversion from the criminal justice system?
(3) Given recent reports of ongoing youth crime in
areas such as Kununurra, will the Attorney General commit to ensuring that
similar programs are implemented in other locations?
