I refer to the December 2019 announcement, from the Premier and the Minister for Transport, of a $1.6 billion contract to Alstom for the delivery and maintenance of 41 C-series trains consisting of 246 railcars, and I ask: (a) can the Minister advise the original schedule for the delivery/completion of the full 41 C-series train sets; (b) can the Minister please advise the current schedule for the delivery/completion of the full 41 C-series train sets; (c) in reference to (b), does this schedule meet the Government's original contract timeline; and (d) if no to (c), why not?
