(2) How many positions will be transferred to Perth?
(3) How many positions will be retained in the country?
(4) Will the remaining positions be advertised, or will the current employees continue in those positions?

(2) It is not possible to determine the number of positions affected by the transfer of functions at this stage; as consultation and assessment on this matter is currently in progress. (3) Answer to question 2 applies. (4) Where positions remain largely unchanged and the local health service remains the employer, current permanent staff will continue in those positions. (5) It is not possible to identify the savings related to functions currently performed in country locations until the number of positions, if any, is known. Any savings made as a result of these changes will be redirected to delivering direct health services to patients.
