INTERIM AGED CARE FACILITIES, WORKING PARTY
(1) Has the Government established a working party on issues associated with interim aged care facilities? (2) If so - (a) when was it established; (b) within what department is it located; (c) who are its members; (d) what interests do they represent; (e) how many times have they met; (f) what interim reports have they issued; and (g) when are they expected to report finally? I thank the member for some notice of this question. (1) No. However, the formation of an aged care sector industry council will be announced early in the new year. One of its tasks will be to consider issues associated with interim aged care facilities. (2)-(3) Not applicable.
