2. Period Number of new Motor Driver Licences issued 01/02 34 680 02/03 33 801 03/04 37 108 04/05 43 151 05/06 52 891 06/07 to date 17.4.2007 47 166 3. There are in excess of 17 categories for the suspension, disqualification and cancellation of a Motor Driver's licence, including medical reasons, accumulation of demerit points, alcohol and driving offences and fines enforcement suspensions. If the Member can clarify the type of suspension or cancellation he is seeking I will ask the Department to obtain the information.
