(a) what memberships are currently held; The Disability Services Commission (the Commission) is a current corporate member of the Institute of Public Administration Australia (IPAA) WA.
(i) how much does each membership cost annually; and

Sponsorship of HIA provides the Commission with opportunities to stimulate industry engagement with the Liveable Homes initiative. Liveable Homes includes a website and manual that aims to increase industry and public awareness of the principles of universal design features in homes, with the long term goal of increasing the range of accessible housing stock suited to West Australians with disability and those who wish to remain in their own home as they age.
Sponsorship of HIA provides the following tangible benefits: • Presentation of the Liveable Home of the Year Award to the winning entrant, along with establishing a presence and networking at the following events (four complimentary tickets provided for each): o Perth Housing Awards; o WA Housing Awards; o South West Housing Awards; o Great Southern Housing Awards; o Mid West Housing Awards; o North West Housing Awards. • Presentation of the Liveable Kitchen of the Year Award and Liveable Bathroom of the Year Award at the HIA Kitchen and Bathroom Awards, along with establishing a presence and networking (four complimentary tickets provided for this event). • Information gathering and networking opportunities with industry to establish a presence and network with industry leaders at the following events (two complimentary tickets provided for each): • HIA Economic Outlook Luncheon (three annual events); • HIA Political Panel Breakfast (two annual events). • Promotional benefits for Disability Services Commission and/or the Liveable Homes initiative as follows: o HIA Building News Magazine: One full page advertisement per edition (four editions); o HIA E-News: Logo inclusion to direct traffic to Liveable Homes website (eight editions); • Disability Services Commission and/or Liveable Homes inclusion in promotional material: o for the events above; o in The West Australian newspaper’s New Homes supplement; o in HIA publications; and o on housinglocal.com.au. • The Disability Services Commission receives the HIA Economic Report Package for a period of 12 months.

Sponsorship of CIT encourages students enrolled in building and design programs to develop their awareness and capability regarding the principles of universal design in alignment with the Liveable Homes initiative. This sponsorship provides the following tangible benefit: • Four Liveable Homes student design competitions and awards, which foster future workforce capability in relation to including universal design features in homes.
