I refer to crash towing industry reforms, and I ask:
(a) has the Government reviewed the economic modelling and analysis prepared by Dr Ray Challen regarding the Western Australian crash towing industry; and if so:
(i) what consideration has been given to the findings of that report;
(ii) what criteria are applied when determining whether externally commissioned economic modelling is considered credible and suitable for policy development purposes;
(iii) has the Government previously relied upon, commissioned or adopted economic modelling prepared by Dr Ray Challen in other policy or regulatory matters; and
(iv) if the report prepared by Dr Ray Challen for the Western Australian crash towing industry has not been relied upon or given significant weight, what are the reasons for that position?
