I refer to waitlists, service transfers and contract extensions for School Bus Services in Western Australia, and I ask: (a) how many students are currently on the School Bus Service waiting list: (i) please provide a breakdown by town or region of how many students are currently on the waiting list including how long each student has been on the waiting list; (b) what is the average time taken to transfer a school bus contract from one contractor to another; (c) please provide a list of all school bus contract transfers completed in the past 24 months including the time taken from application to finalisation of transfer; (d) how many school bus contracts are currently operating under a life extension arrangement beyond their standard contract term; and (e) what is the estimated financial saving to the Government as a result of extending the life of these contracts?
