(a) (i) - (ii) 635 physical assaults have been reported through the critical incident online notification system 1/1/2008 - 13/3/2009. The data does not distinguish degrees of severity of assault. Assault includes pinching through to and including being struck with a weapon. Many of the instances recorded as "assaults" are at the lower end of the scale of violence. What is reported through the critical incident online notification system is at the discretion of the principal.
(b) - (d) In the time frame provided it is not possible to disaggregate the information requested. It would require a significant level of additional resources to provide the level of detail requested.
