I refer to the sealing of the Western Australian (WA) section of the Outback Way (Great Central Road), and to the WA Government’s publicly stated commitment of $100 million and a projected completion date of 2030, and I ask: (a) has the Department or Main Roads WA identified barriers such as contractor availability, environmental approvals, or native title clearances, and were these risks anticipated at the time the 2030 commitment was made; (b) if no to (a), why not; (c) what specific construction works have been delivered since the joint Commonwealth–State funding commitment was made in 2022 (please list individual projects or packages, including their funding allocation, scope and completion dates); (d) has Main Roads WA developed a formal delivery schedule, works program, or construction timeline to meet the 2030 target; (e) if yes to (d), will the Minister table the most recent version; and (f) if no to (d), how is progress being tracked and reported to the Minister?
