Will the Premier advise:
what is the status of the old youth hostel in Marble Bar that was previously occupied by the Department for Child Protection; and
can this facility be made available for backpacker or visitor accommodation that is needed in Marble Bar;
if the State Government will progress a report that will secure the release of under-utilised, un-utilised, under occupied, or unoccupied government assets and buildings in Marble Bar so that the townspeople have an opportunity to see the orderly expansion of the town to meet the needs of the growing population and to cater for visitor services;
why the Department for Child Protection is refusing to allow the unoccupied youth hostel to be made available for alternative use; and
of any steps taken or planned to be taken to make sure that the youth hostel and associated assets are put to alternative use?
