PERTH MINT —
SENATE COMMITTEE INQUIRY
429. Mr R.S. LOVE to the Premier:
I have a supplementary question. I take
the Premier back to the first point in my question. Does he now concede that
the situation surrounding the Perth Mint is more than a storm in a teacup?

AnswerView source ↗

No, I do not. I concede that the
Senate has made a decision today to set up a select committee into this issue—nothing
more; nothing less. It is a political decision and it will make its decisions
as it sees fit.
