(1) The Department of Commerce ceased funding
the Employment Law Centre of WA from 1 July 2015. Funding for the ELC was
provided by Legal Aid in 2015–16. There is no provision for funding for
the ELC in the Department of Commerce budget for 2016–17 or future
years.
(2) Any potential ongoing funding or funding
model is the subject of continuing discussion within agencies in my portfolios.
(3) Not applicable.
