58. Hon SUE ELLERY to the
Minister for Education:
I refer to Department of Education contracts BMW 0723212, BMW
0224813 and BMW 1201113 for the construction of new transportable buildings.
For each of those contracts, how many new transportable buildings

(a) in total will be supplied under the contract;
(b) have already been delivered under the contract but are
not yet in use at schools; and
(c) have been delivered and are in use in schools?

(b)–(c) The transportable classrooms
that form part of contracts 0723212 and 0224813 were delivered to schools in
2013 and are currently being occupied. The 25 transportable classrooms from
contract 1201113 are currently in construction and will be allocated to
secondary schools as part of the year 7 program, in readiness for the
commencement of the 2015 school year.
