I refer the minister to the Water Corporation’s October 2003 submission to the Water and Rivers Commission for its ground water requirements for this year and ask - (1) What is the volume of ground water extraction sought for this year for the supply of water to the Perth integrated water supply scheme? (2) Will the Water Corporation extract 21 gigalitres of additional water from the new bores in Perth, as referred to in its annual report? (3) Has the Water Corporation turned on any of the 41 bores that were turned off during 2001; and, if not, why not? Hon NICK GRIFFITHS
