MEN'S SHED — BALDIVIS
711. Hon Dr BRAD PETTITT to the Minister for Education and
Training:
I refer the minister to the parcel
of land held by the Department of Education on Pike Road, Baldivis.
(1) Has the
minister been approached, either directly by proponents of a men's shed
in Baldivis or by the local member of the Legislative Assembly on their behalf,
to discuss the possible reallocation of that land to allow a men's shed
to be built on the site?
(2) If yes to
(1), what is the department's response to such a proposal, and has that
response been provided to either the proponents, the local member or the City
of Rockingham in writing?
(3) If the
transfer is not being considered, can the minister confirm the proposed use to
which the department plans to put the land in due course?
