Advertisements were placed in The West Australian and the public was invited to comment on the 17 proposals for amendment contained in the discussion paper. Fifty-three submissions were received. The Department of Consumer and Employment Protection has analysed all the proposals and submissions received and is currently drafting a report of its findings. (2) Prior to the introduction of an amending Bill into Parliament, the minister will consider the findings and recommendations of the report.
