(3) Any announcement to extend the Northern Suburbs railway will include an estimated cost of the works.

(10) Refer to answer in Part 3.
(11) (a) - (b) This is a matter of timing. Experience has shown that a minimum population of about 30,000 is required to support a new station, but 40,000 may be more desirable should stations be built at Butler and Brighton by 2016, independent analysis shows that the patronage at Clarkson would fall from the present 3,200 boardings per day to 1,800; there would be 1,900 boardings per day at Butler and about 4,000 boardings per day at Brighton.
(12) The agreement under which the City of Wanneroo provided funding to the Public Transport Authority (PTA) provides that the PTA is to repay the monies when the earliest of the following occurs:
Funds become available for use by the PTA for the purpose of the extension of the Northern
Suburbs railway services extending north of Quinns Road, Ridgewood; or
The PTA commences work for the extension of the Northern Suburbs railway services north
of Quinns Road, Ridgewood.
