Department of Education
(1) Yes.
(2)(a) WA University Foundation Program Unibridge Course. The purpose of the program was to provide a fast-track university entrance course for international students. While the program and fee were approved, the course was never actually offered to students.

Public Education Endowment Trust
(1) The Public Education Endowment Trust does not set any tariffs, fees or charges. Consequently the question is not applicable.
(2)(a)-(2)(e) Not applicable.
Department of Education Services
(1) Yes.
(2) There are two fees to which this question applies:
Payment agreement and fee for request to review a report of a higher education advisory committee.
Question (2) has been applied to each of the above fees separately as follows:
Fee One
(a) A payment agreement between the Minister for Education and an educational institution to consider a request under section 7 (establishment of an Australian university) or an application under sections 9 (relating to recognition of an overseas university) or 13A (self-accrediting authorisation for a non-university institution) of the
Higher Education Act 2004
.
(b) 9 June 2010.
(c) The provision of a payment agreement was implemented to recover costs and expenses by the State Government associated with:
· the preparation of a financial report by an approved person;
· consideration of the qualifications sought to be conferred;
· preparation and execution of the agreement;
· remuneration, allowances and other expenses to be paid with respect to the services provided by a higher education advisory committee; and
· servicing the committee and preparation of reports of the committee.
(d) The ambit of each payment agreement is a decision between the Minister and the particular applicant.
(e) Not applicable.
Fee Two
(a) Fee for request to review report of higher education advisory committee In accordance with section 21A of the
Higher Education Act 2004
, should an applicant request the Minister to undertake a review of the report of the higher education advisory committee, the applicant will be charged for the costs incurred by the Minister to conduct the review.
(b) 9 June 2010.
(c) The provision of a fee was implemented to recover costs and expenses by the Government that may include:
· the preparation of the review of the financial report by an approved person;
· reconsideration of the qualifications sought to be conferred;
· remuneration, allowances and other expenses to be paid with respect to the services provided by the higher education advisory committee; and
· servicing the committee and preparation of the report of the review by the Committee.
(d) The cost of a review is calculated by multiplying the rate per hour agreed to by the applicant and the Minister, and an estimate of the number of hours required to undertake the review agreed by the applicant and the Minister.
(e) Calculated as per (d) above.
