384. Hon KATE DOUST to the Minister for Commerce:
I refer to the ''Local Content Report May 2012'' .
(1) Will the minister table the service
charter between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Western Australia and
the Department of Commerce in respect of the Industry Capability Network
Western Australia?
(a)
If no, will the minister provide the following information —
(i) objectives;
(ii) key performance indicators; and
(iii) other deliverables?
(2) What is the total state government
funding allocation to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of WA for the ICNWA
for budget periods —
(a) 2011–12; and
(b) 2012–13?
(3) Will the minister
table the ICNWA business plan for —
(a) 2011–12; and, if not, why not; and
(b) 2012–13; and, if not, why not?

I thank the honourable member for notice of the question.
(1) There is no such service charter in
existence. The information the member seeks is contained in the Industry
Capability Network Western Australia business plan. This project is jointly
funded by the state government, the federal government and major project
proponents. On that basis there has been insufficient time to seek the approval
of all authorities to release this document. I am not saying I am refusing it.
I am just saying that for a question without notice for which only some notice
was given, we do not have the time. If the member wants to place the question
on notice, we can reconsider it in that light.
(2) (a) It is $945 930.
(b) It has not yet determined.
(3) (a)–(b) See (1) above.
