I refer to progress towards the development of a National Implementation Plan as part of the National Plan to reduce Violence against Women and their Children, and I ask —
(1) Please advise the status of the first implementation plan.
(2) When is the plan expected to be finalised?
(3) When has the National Implementation Panel met over the past 12 months?
(4) What have been the outcomes of these meetings?

(1) WA has endorsed the National Implementation Plan. Other states are yet to endorse.
(2) It is expected that the Commonwealth will release the National Implementation plan following endorsement from the Select Council on Women's Interests. Endorsement from all states is expected to be sought by the Commonwealth 'out of session' by end of October 2012.
(3) The National Plan Implementation Panel met for the first and only time on 26 April 2012.
(4) Endorsement of the governance arrangements for the National Plan Implementation Panel.
