15. Hon Louise Kingston to the minister representing
the Minister for Police :
I refer to my
question without notice 4, asked and answered on 8 April 2024.
(1) What will be put in place for people with no
mobile phone, computer or internet access in regional areas and who cannot use myID,
or choose not to, to facilitate applying for a firearms licence or property
letters?
(2) Will they be denied a firearms licence or be
unable to register their property?

honourable member for some notice of the question and provide the following
answer on behalf of the Minister for Environment.
(1)–(2) The Western Australia Police
Force's licensing services and firearms transition team already has processes
and systems in place to assist licensed firearms owners according to their
specific needs. Any reasonable request will not be denied.
