(1)–(4) Planning
on the service delivery model for mental health and alcohol and other drug
services for the midwest region is currently being progressed by the Mental
Health Commission in the context of the finalisation of the Mental Health
Alcohol and Other Drug Service Plan 2015–2025. The development of any
future services will be subject to government budgetary processes. The
development of mental health services for the midwest region remains a priority
for this government.
The Mental Health Commission has had
meetings with key stakeholders, including the Department of Health, local
providers and the Mental Health Network, to progress the development of a model
for mental health services for Geraldton and the midwest region.
