I refer to recommendation 55 of the Keelty report in the Perth Hills Fires which suggests a review being conducted after two years into the extent to which its recommendations have been implemented and ask: (a) given that the two years expired in August, what consideration has been given to such a review; and (b) whilst there has been an internal committee working on these recommendations, will you table a report as contemplated by Keelty, and if not why not?

(a) The implementation of the Perth Hills Bushfire Report has been subject to continued review by the Bushfire Review Implementation Group, and publicly communicated through regularly published Stakeholder Briefings. Further review is also undertaken annually as part of the Preparedness Report by the State Emergency Management Committee.
(b) The implementation of the recommendations will continue to be publicly reported through the Stakeholder Briefings, and the Bushfire Review Implementation Group will advise the Minister for Emergency Services when all recommendations are signed off as complete. In addition, the Preparedness Report tabled annually in Parliament will further outline Government progress in Emergency Management.
