FOUNDATION
HOUSING LIMITED
415. Hon GIZ WATSON to the minister representing the
Minister for Housing:
I refer to question without notice 264, asked in the
Legislative Council on 17 May this year, regarding Foundation Housing Limited.
As Foundation Housing Limited is an independent, not-for-profit organisation
that is not required to apply the Housing Authority's operational
policies, will the minister table the details of the complaints process that
can be used against Foundation Housing tenants who display antisocial
behaviour?

I thank the honourable member for notice of the question. The
Department of Housing advises —
As a registered community housing organisation, Foundation
Housing is required under the national community housing standards to have a
documented system for how disputes between tenants and neighbours will be
managed in accordance with the Residential Tenancies Act 1987 and to take the
appropriate action under the act when a specific incident can be substantiated.
