I refer to the recent selection of Matilda Bay as the location for a new ferry terminal as part of the METRONET Swan Ferry Service Expansion, and seek further information concerning the operational requirements and scheduling of ferry services under the proposed expansion, and I ask: (a) Will the contract for the provision of ferry operations include the requirement to meet a set timetable: (i) If so, will there be penalties for failing to meet the timetable; and (ii) If not, how will the Public Transport Authority ensure there is a published and reliable timetable of service?
