DRIVING ASSESSMENTS REVIEW — REGIONAL
WESTERN AUSTRALIA
1040. Hon DARREN WEST to the
parliamentary secretary representing the Minister for Transport:
I refer to question 1005 asked on 16 September.
(1) In which regional towns or centres are the driver
assessors and transport officers currently located?
(2) Which of these will no longer be operational from either
30 September or 1 October 2015?

I thank the honourable member for some notice of the
question.
(1) The
Department of Transport staff have undertaken driving assessments located in
the following towns: Albany; Bunbury; Busselton; Esperance; Kalgoorlie;
Geraldton; Carnarvon; Exmouth; Karratha; Tom Price; Newman; South Hedland;
Broome; and Kununurra. A number of DOT staff and contractors are mobile and
conduct assessments throughout the state.
(2) Delivery of services will not change.
