MUSEUM — RELOCATION
(1) To what use will the current Museum site be put after relocation to the new site? (2) What studies and/or research, if any, have been undertaken regarding opportunities for commercial and/or residential redevelopment of the existing site? I thank the honourable member for some notice of this question. The minister has provided the following answer. (1)-(5) The future use of the current Museum site was not a precondition in the determination to build Western Australia’s museum of the twenty-first century at the East Perth power station. The Minister for Planning and Infrastructure has responsibility for the site and questions relating to its future use should be addressed to the minister.
