a) - c) The Heads of Jurisdiction are responsible for directing the professional development and training of judicial officers. The Department of Justice does not contribute to the content of conferences and courses and is not privy to the content of all courses attended, nor does it run judicial education courses. This is to ensure the independence of the judiciary is upheld.
