HYDROGEN POWER PLANT — QUEENSLAND
587. Dr D.J. HONEY to the Minister for State Development,
Jobs and Trade:
I have a supplementary question. Is
it not the case that the Minister for Hydrogen Industry and the minister have
completely failed to protect future jobs in WA; and when will we see an actual
major project come into this state?

I saw in some media utterances that
the Leader of the Opposition said that we were an embarrassment in Western Australia
in relation to our hydrogen support. He is talking Western Australia down. I also
remember other people who were referred to as embarrassments. That is you,
Leader of the Opposition. It is his own party, ''The Clan'', that
called you an embarrassment. With contributions like this, it is not
surprising.
Ms M.J. Davies : Are you
yelling at me?
Mr R.H. COOK : Sorry, my
apologies—Leader of the Liberal Party, not the Leader of the
Opposition.
Several members interjected.
The SPEAKER : Order, please,
member for Cottesloe!
