(1) On 20 January 2013 there were 738 young people (juveniles)
serving community corrections orders. Of those, 437 had a community work
component included in an order.
(2) Of these 738 young people, 119 were females. Of those, 68 had a
community work component included in an order.
(3) Of these 738 young people, 618 were males. Of those, 369 had a
community work component included in an order. There is one case where gender
is not recorded.
(4) On 20 January 2013, there were 131 "youth community
workers" (Youth Justice Officers and Senior Youth Justice Officers)
employed.
(5) Of the 131 "youth community workers" (Youth Justice
Officers and Senior Youth Justice Officers) employed at this time, one was on
sick leave. There is no provision for "stress leave" under the Public
Service Award 1992.
(6) On 20 January 2013, there were 3995 adults serving community
corrections orders. Of those, 1043 had a community work component included in
an order.
(7) Of these 3994 adults, 917 were females. Of those, 263 had a
community work component included in an order.
(8) Of these 3994 adults, 3078 were males. Of those, 780 had a
community work component included in an order.
(9) On 20 January 2013, there were 39 Community Work Officers
(CWOs) employed.
(10) The Department's HR system shows that of the 39 CWOs employed at
this time, no one was on sick leave. There is no provision for "stress
leave" under the Public Service Award 1992.

orders.
