(1) Yes.
(2) An order published in the Government Gazette on 20 August 2001, which took effect on 21 August 2001, requires declared terminals to comply with Part 111A of the Petroleum Products Pricing Act 1983. The Act requires the wholesale price for “spot” purchases to be clearly visibly displayed at the point of sale. The Act also requires the declared terminal to notify of any change in the wholesale price and to notify, at the end of each month, the weighted average price of each kind of motor fuel sold in that month. The FuelWatch website lists the declared terminals’ wholesale price for spot purchases of unleaded petrol as well as the Maximum Wholesale Price for unleaded petrol as set by the Prices Commissioner.
