PILBARA — WATER CONSUMPTION
My question concerns water consumption in the Pilbara. (1) How much water, by company and location, do Rio Tinto, BHP and Fortescue Metals Group use annually for their mining extraction and shipping operations in the Pilbara? (2) How much do Rio Tinto, BHP and Fortescue Metals Group pay per megalitre? (3) What are the annual fresh water requirements for the processing and shipping operations of the North West Shelf and Woodside’s Pluto LNG project in the Pilbara? (4) How much do the North West Shelf and Woodside’s Pluto LNG project pay per megalitre? Hon HELEN MORTON
