In 2002 over 80% of enrolled students are from Western Australia. The Academy receives a very large number of applications from all around Australia and occasionally from overseas and its brief is to accept the best students. 3. At census date enrolments in the Acting course has 6 in first year, 6 in second year and 8 in third year (out of 18 for each year) from Western Australia.
