ENERGY — RESIDENTIAL FEED-IN TARIFF SCHEME
I have a supplementary question. In light of the Premier’s answer will he now undertake to get that information together as soon as possible and advise the house either this week or next week what the exact overrun is in the scheme and whether it is up to a 2 000 per cent overrun on the original estimates? Mr C.J. BARNETT

It is nothing like that. I believe that an overrun will be found and I am more interested in the amount of that and the reason it occurred. I do not have the answer yet. Mr M. McGowan : I am asking you to provide it. Mr C.J. BARNETT : Well, I do not have the answer. Ms M.M. Quirk : That’s okay; you’ve got all the answers! The SPEAKER : Member for Girrawheen! Mr C.J. BARNETT : The member for Girrawheen has none; she has no answers. She was probably the worst performing minister in the previous government; it is a close tussle but she was right up there as a bad performer! To return to the feed-in tariff, when this government became aware of the issue—when the Treasurer became aware of it and informed me—we acted upon it through the Economic and Expenditure Reform Committee. We have not yet got that report back as it was probably only a matter of two weeks ago. When we get it back, I am sure that the minister or I will make a public comment on what has been found. Dr J.M. WOOLLARD : Mr Speaker — Several members interjected. The SPEAKER : Members, that concludes question time.
