PREMIER — CHINATOWN DINNER
195. Hon ROBIN SCOTT to the Leader of the House representing
the Premier:
I refer to a recent Twitter post by
the Chinese Consul General, Dong Zhihua, which reads —
I joined Premier McGowan and his
ministers as well as leaders from the Chinese community to dine out in a Chinese
restaurant at Chinatown in Perth last night. We stand together with the Chinese
community in Western Australia at this difficult time. And we cheered for China
and Wuhan
Does the Premier support the Consul
General's comment?
Several members interjected.
The PRESIDENT : Order! Look,
you have asked a question and you are about to get an answer. Pointing across
the chamber and making an odd noise is not really terribly professional, so I hope
that you will just listen quietly to the response you are about to get from
this minister.
