DISABILITY CARE AND SUPPORT — PRODUCTIVITY COMMISSION REPORT
I refer to the WA government response to the Productivity Commission draft report into disability care and support. Will the minister ensure that the government’s submission canvasses the views of people with disabilities and their families? Hon HELEN MORTON

AnswerView source ↗

I assure the Leader of the Opposition and everybody else in the house that the government’s response is being developed collectively as a whole-of-government response. The Disability Services Commission and I as the minister are having a significant input into that. People with families have been encouraged to be involved in that response through a variety of different forums that have taken place and that are still to take place. That work is continuing. We understand that a whole-of-government response will be provided by the end of the month.
