I refer to the ‘Putting the Public First’ Economic Audit Committee report of October 2009, and in particular to recommendation 22, which was to ensure Cabinet receives regular updates and advice from the Minister for Works, enabling it to oversee progress on all major capital works projects, in the process subjecting any cost overruns and delays to rigorous scrutiny, and robust, fully informed and transparent decision making, and I ask -
(1) Has the milestone contained in recommendation 22 been achieved?
(2) If no to (1), why not?
