Twenty (20) of these are cancer claims, of which five claims have been settled and a further two have been made offers of settlement. Six claims have been declined, as either employment with APB or exposure to 2,4,5-T could not be substantiated. The remaining claims are being processed. Twenty one (21) of thirty six (36) non-cancer claims have been declined following medical assessment which did not establish causation through exposure to 2,4,5-T. Two other claims were declined as either employment with APB or exposure to 2,4,5-T could not be substantiated. The remaining claims are being assessed to determine any entitlement to compensation. 2) The total amount of compensation paid for the five (5) settled claims is $252,737.
