(1) Yes. However, alternative non-potable sources are currently being investigated for use in construction.
(a) The amount of water consumed for dust suppression varies according to the activity undertaken, such as land clearance, and weather conditions on the day. On average, approximately 160 kilolitres of water is being used per day for dust suppression. This is expected to decrease to 100 kilolitres after 2 July 2010.
(b) The anticipated completion date for the Baynton West Project is the end of December 2010.
