Neither the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries nor the Department of Local Government and Communities (Department) maintains a database to record every contact with local governments.
However, I am advised that there have been meeting between officers of the Department and representatives of the City of Perth (City) between May 2015 and 15 March 2018, where the City sought advice in relation to numerous matters. Some of those matters are now the subject of an active Authorised Inquiry and may become subject to the forthcoming Panel of Inquiry, therefore it is not appropriate to make any further comment.
