(1) The total cost of the Elizabeth
Quay water park was $12.85 million, GST inclusive.
(2) CPB
Contracting, formerly Leighton–Broad, is currently liable for all costs
of testing and upgrades to the system, as part of its contract with the
Metropolitan Redevelopment Authority.
(3) (a) Costs are
yet to be determined until investigations into the design, operation and
management are complete.
(b)–(c) Testing
and maintenance are currently the responsibility of the managing contractor, as
per (2).
(4) As per
(3)(a), the costs are yet to be determined. An expected reopening date has not
yet been identified but the water park will remain closed and be reopened upon
approval from the Department of Health.
