DERBARL YERRIGAN HEALTH SERVICE, FUNDING
I ask a supplementary question. It is obvious that the minister expected a different question today, or perhaps it is the second one in the pile - Point of Order Mr KOBELKE: The standing orders relating to supplementary questions are clear. The first question may be to ask the question the minister was expecting. The member cannot then ask a series of other questions. The SPEAKER: Order! The rules about supplementary questions are that members must ask a specific question without any preamble. I ask the member for Murdoch to do that straightaway. Questions without Notice Resumed Mr BOARD: Thank you, Mr Speaker. With regard to question (3), which the minister did not answer, is the minister prepared to investigate any possible maladministration and report on this to the Parliament? Mr KUCERA

I have said that I am seeking assurances from the Health Department and the Commissioner of Health. Like any other responsible Government, we will apply rigour and accountability. The clear thing I am seeing in the health system is the lack of rigour and accountability that has been applied.
